FAQ

  • What are your qualifications?
I have a PhD in clinical psychology and I am licensed in the state of Oklahoma as a Health Service Psychologist. I received rigorous and up-to-date general and specialized training at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Texas at Austin, and Brown University Medical School. I have provided therapy and assessment to hundreds of clients since 2003. See my full bio here.
  • Do you prescribe medication?
No, I do not prescribe medication. However, I am happy to work with your family doctor or psychiatrist if you wish to pursue medication options.
  • What are your prices?
You can see my prices for therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, and assessment on this page.
  • Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, no, I do not accept insurance. However, I can provide you a bill that you can give to your insurance company and they may partially reimburse you for the session cost. See the note at the bottom of this page for more information.
  • Is everything I tell you confidential?
Yes, within the limits of the law, once you are a client, everything you tell me in therapy or assessment is part of your medical record and is private and confidential. There are certain instances where I am required by law to break confidentiality. For example, I am a 'mandated reporter' and must break confidentiality if I learn about the ongoing neglect or abuse of a child, and elderly person, or a disabled person. I will clarify any limits to confidentiality with you at our first session.
  • What if I have other questions that are not answered here?
