The guiding principles of Be Well Psychology are: 1) using psychological techniques supported by scientific evidence and 2) maintaining a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment to help clients feel as comfortable as possible discussing any issues that are important to them.

Licensure and Education

- Licensed Health Service Psychologist, Oklahoma, License # 1241.

- Residency and postdoctoral training, Brown University Medical School.

- PhD (2011), clinical psychology, University of Texas at Austin.

- MA (2003), clinical psychology, University of Pennsylvania.

Clinical Training

I have broad training in cognitive behavioral approaches to therapy and in evidence-based psychological assessment (click here for more information on my approach to therapy and assessment). I received my specialty training in assessment and in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders (including Panic Disorder) at the University of Texas. At Brown Medical School I received specialty training in behavioral health including the treatment of Insomnia. 

More About Me

I'm a Stillwater native and I am excited to be able to return to my hometown to practice psychology. In addition to managing Be Well Psychology, I am a professor in the psychology department at Oklahoma State University. My work as a professor helps me to stay up to date on the latest and best-supported methods for psychological treatment and assessment.
